Vikings too good for Neyland

HAKIN United moved up to third place in Division 1 on Saturday (Jan 26) as they thumped Neyland 7-0 at The Obs.

Although the Vikings are now in third place they are ten points behind second placed Monkton having played two games less.

Nicky Woodrow scored a hat trick for the home side to take his tally of league goals for the season to ten.

Justin Harding was also on target twice while Shane Walsh and Craig Nicholson also found the back of the net.

Neyland had their chances while Mike Chandler also did well in goal making a few good saves to keep the score down.

On Saturday (Jan 26), Neyland will look to bounce back as they take on the side directly above them in the table in Saundersfoot.
