Wales’ Siwan Lillicrap tests positive for Covid before Women’s Six Nations

The Women’s Six Nations begins in just 10 days, and Welsh captain Siwan Lillicrap has tested positive for Covid.

Lillicrap has now travelled home to follow isolation protocols and further testing.

The 34-year-old was set to attend the official launch of the Six Nations on Wednesday in London.

However she was unfortunately forced to withdraw this morning due to Covid.

In a warm up match against the USA Falcons on March 12th, Wales lost 31-23 – with Lillicrap captaining the side.

Wales’ first Six Nations tie is against Ireland in Dublin on 26th March.
