Bus services in the area have been diverted.

Taking to twitter this morning, the bus company said: “The following diversions are in place. All Caerleon Road Services will operate via Heidenheim Drive to M4 roundabout in both directions.

“All Chepstow Road services will operate via George Street Bridge both directions.”

Gwent Police have been asked to comment.
