AN APPLICATION from Dragon LNG for a new reliquefaction unit was accepted by councillors at Tuesday’s planning and rights of way committee. A reliquefaction unit reliquifies gas that boils off from water containers and then passes that back into LNG storage tanks. Three conditions were also imposed on the development including time period, approval of plant details and construction management plans. Councillors were happy with the plans and voted unanimously in favour of them.
