DYFED-POWYS POLICE are asking members of the community to be vigilant this winter, following a recent theft of heating oil from an address in Llechryd.  Although the price of heating oil is decreasing, opportunist thieves may still target heating oil sources.

Police are asking that people take time to support vulnerable or elderly members of their families and communities by ensuring their oil tanks are well hidden and secured.

Any persons having information regarding any oil thefts, or information of any persons selling oil in suspicious circumstances are asked to contact their local Police station on 101.

General security advice can be provided by local Neighbourhood Policing teams if required, contact your local station for more information.
