LAST Saturday traders set up their stalls for the first of three open air markets on Market Square, Milford Haven.
There was an overwhelming response from the public, and if it is successful it is planned to have a permanent market on the square from April.
Councillor Stephen Joseph said: “There were 20 stalls on the square and the response from the public has been overwhelming”.
The market is a trial over three Saturdays with two more being held this weekend, December 14 and a final one on December 21.
Cllr Joseph added: “If it is successful and it’s what the people of Milford want, we are working towards making it a permanent market from the spring of 2014.”
There were around 20 stalls out which included, jewellery making, gift ideas, woodwork and fruit and veg.
