A POPULAR pub near Milford Haven’s railway station has suddenly shut its doors, it’s management has announced.
The Llan-Y-Mor on the town’s Victoria Hill is now no longer trading according to an announcement from the bar on its social media page.
The bar is well known for its music night and late hours, and is licensed until 2am with an extension until 6am once a month.
A statement on Facebook page said: “After much discussion, it is with regret that we need to inform you all that as of now the Llan-Y-Mor has ceased trading and our doors are officially closed.”
“Our whole reason for reopening the Llan was because it held fond memories for us and we wanted to see it open again. However, after months of negotiation to try and keep it open, we have decided that our lives are going in a different direction and we can’t give the pub the time it truly deserves.”
“We would like to say a massive thank you to all that have helped us along the way (too many to name, but you know who you are), to all the staff – past and present, to all the tradesmen we have used, the bands and musicians, to the landlords for giving us a chance, but most of all thanks to the customers! Without you guys we wouldn’t have had this opportunity for the last two years!
It’s had its ups and downs and has been an experience to say the least. But we don’t regret reopening the Llan for one second, and all in all it’s been a pleasure!”
“All the best to you all, and thanks again for all the support!”
