Pensioner, 80, charged with criminal damage

haverfordwest-magistratesAN 80-YEAR-OLD woman who had a dispute with her neighbour has been charged with six offences of criminal damage and one of harassment without violence.

Mary Allen, of Pill Road, Milford Haven, had her attendance to court excused as Haverfordwest Magistrates set a date for her trial. The charges relate to damage made to a lawn area, boundary fencing, a wooden garden gate and a house wall between March 17 and May 8 all belonging to Marcia Robison. Allen entered not guilty pleas to all the charges, but defence solicitor Jonathon Webb told the magistrates that he found it difficult to concentrate her mind on the seriousness of the alleged offences. The magistrates set a trial date of September 24.
