A PHOTOGRAPHER is desperately trying to track down a couple he photographed after they had just got engaged on a Ceredigion beach.
The pictures were taken on December 23 when the photographer, Steve Hawkins from Wiltshire, was in Mwnt.
Steve said on his blog, Focal Thingy: “I need to ask a favour. Yesterday, when I was at Mwnt there was a couple with a young lad and a dog enjoying the beach. I noticed him bent down on one knee and smiled to myself but carried on with my shots.
“A few minutes later he approached me and explained that he had just proposed to his girlfriend and would I be able to get some photos of them. The light was fading and all I had was my on camera flash but I was honoured and (fumbling, fuffing and farting about taken into account) They didn’t turn out too bad.”
“Here’s the thing though… They did give me their names and I gave them one of my cards. I can’t remember their names (I’m awful like that) and they haven’t been in touch yet so I’m worried they’ve misplaced my card, so, this is what I’m going to do, I’m going to ask you to share this all you can.
“So, if you know them (highly improbable) or you know someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows them…”
