A FIRE broke out at Fenton School in Haverfordwest yesterday (Thursday November 14). All pupils were safely evacuated and the fire service attended.
According to a Pembrokeshire County Council spokesman, the fire caused some disruption to the normal working of the school.
“The headteacher requested that parents of infant school pupils in nursery, reception and classes 1 & 2 collected their children. The school provided transport to take some children home. Parents are advised to check with the school today (Friday) to see if the school is open by calling 01437 765378.”
There are around 380 pupils attending the school.
