met-officeTHE MET OFFICE has issued a severe weather warning for Wales today (Nov 21), with 50mph winds and heavy rainfall expected to last throughout the day.

The warning was raised at 3am this morning and is set to last until 11:55pm tonight.

The Met Office says that the possibility of flooding is high if the rainfall remains consistent throughout the day.

Houses across Wales have already been flooded overnight, with South Wales Fire and Rescue service attending 47 flooding incidents in the last 24 hours.

The weather warning includes Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, just days after Ceredigion was blasted by hurricane-force winds which reached 98mph.
