Work to start at Tudor Place development in Tiers Cross

PEMBROKESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL have promised that work is finally due to start next month (July 2022) on the Tudor Place development site in Tiers Cross.

A council spokesperson said: “Following the previous contractor going into administration in July 2021, the Council is pleased to confirm the contract has now been awarded to Tycroes Group Ltd. and the new builds should be ready for occupation in June 2023.

“In total, 11 affordable homes will be constructed on the site and will provide much needed social housing.”

Cllr Jon Harvey, Cabinet Member for Planning & Housing Delivery told The Pembrokeshire Herald this week: “As the Cabinet Member responsible for new housing delivery, I am delighted that the Tycroes Group has been awarded the contract for the Tudor Place housing development and that we are able to move forward with this scheme. I would like to thank the local community and tenants for their understanding and patience whilst we re-tendered the contract.”

The council said if members of the community have any queries, please feel free to contact the Customer Liaison Team by emailing [email protected] or phone 01437 776230.
