The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is open for outline bids, and the call is out to encourage them.
In collaboration with Ambition North Wales, Wrexham County Borough Council, Flintshire County Council, Denbighshire County Council, Conwy County Borough Council, Cyngor Gwynedd, and the Isle of Anglesey County Council have announced that organizations in North Wales may now submit their initial applications for funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

The UK Government announced in December 2022 that the North Wales area’s application to access its UKSPF had been approved, allowing access to the £126.46 million that has been designated for the region through March 2025. The funding consists of both revenue and capital funds.
Since then, Ambition North Wales and the six local authorities in the area have been working hard to put all the necessary structures in place to allow organizations to further their ideas that need finance.
Organizations looking to execute a project in one or more local authority areas of North Wales with funding from the UKSPF of at least £250,000 are now asked to submit an outline proposal by Friday, February 24, 2023, at noon.
