Welsh Water said capacity existed in the local sewerage system to receive domestic foul-only flows.

But the water board also said no surface water from an increase in the size of the roof or impermeable surfaces should be allowed to drain into the public system.

The plans will likely be approved or refused by the delegated authority of planning officers or debated at a future planning committee meeting.
