Sam Rowlands MS backs initiative to identify key crime priorities in North Flintshire

SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is urging residents to share their crime concerns in a survey.

Mr Rowlands is calling on people to support the Flintshire North Neighbourhood Policing Team who have launched a public survey aimed at gathering community feedback on local crime and safety concerns.

Mr Rowlands said: “I am a great supporter of asking local people what issues matter to them in their communities and to voice their concerns.

“We all know that North Wales is one of the safest places to live, work and visit and I always welcome any measures which will help to keep it that way.

“Crime and disorder is not something we want to see on our streets and I encourage everyone to take part in the survey.”

The short survey is part of an ongoing initiative called ‘North Wales Talking’ and asks residents what issues matter most to them in North Flintshire.

Flintshire North Inspector Wes Williams says the survey will help them better understand the crime and disorder concerns of their local communities.

He said he was keen to give people the opportunity to make sure Neighbourhood Policing teams were focussing on what matters to local residents.

He said: “Could you support me by taking a few minutes to complete our short survey about what it is like to live in your area and what issues matter most to you and your community.

“It is also an opportunity for you to raise any concerns you may have. The survey will be running until December 1 2024.”
