SAM ROWLANDS MS for North Wales is backing an initiative to help people looking for work.
Mr Rowlands, is supporting the Flint Jobs and Apprenticeship Fair, being held in the town next week and organised by Flint Town Council, in partnership with Job Centre Plus.
He said: “I am pleased to promote this event which will showcase the wide range of careers and job opportunities available in the area for young people and job seekers alike.
“It is an excellent initiative particularly for pupils who will have the opportunity to meet with prospective employers and get the right advice on skills and training in various fields.
“I am a great supporter of apprenticeships which provide a great way to learn a trade and genuine skills that they can use throughout their working life.
“I would urge anyone looking for an apprenticeship or employment to attend.”
The event is open to all whether you are looking for a new job, exploring career opportunities or seeking an apprenticeship.
The fair will feature a wide range of organisations, providing attendees with the chance to explore career paths, discover apprenticeship programs, and gather valuable insights into the current job market.
The Flint Jobs and Apprenticeship Fair is taking place on Thursday, February 13, from 3pm-6.30pm at Flint Town Council, in Market Square, Flint.
