“Cluck Yeah, Wrexham!” – KFC closes temporarily for a chicken-fuelled makeover

Wrexham residents were left with rumbling tummies and ruffled feathers as one of the busiest KFCs in Europe temporarily closed its doors. But before you start planning your fried chicken eulogy, rest assured – the Colonel isn’t flying the coop for good!

The local KFC is merely taking a well-deserved beauty nap, getting a makeover that’s bound to be finger lickin’ fabulous. The restaurant is set to reopen on 11th October, ready to serve up your favourite crispy delights once again.

Right now, the windows are covered, and the doors are locked tight, hiding all the secret herbs and spices magic going on inside. A KFC spokesperson clucked out a message to the Wrexham faithful, saying, “Fear not, people of Wrexham! We’re just giving our Wrexham restaurant a well-deserved makeover. We’ll be back at the fryers and serving fans our delicious fried chicken soon.”

In the meantime, if you’re in dire need of a KFC fix, you’ll have to flap your wings over to the Mold or Oswestry branches. After all, when the Colonel calls, you answer – even if it means a short road trip.

Wrexham’s KFC has always been a hotspot for chicken lovers, with many locals dreaming of a drive-thru to make their drumstick dash even quicker. While that dream’s still in the fryer, at least the beloved branch will be back soon, looking better than ever. So, hold onto your napkins, Wrexham – the Colonel’s coming back, and he’s bringing the crunch!
