Sam Rowlands MS highlights events at Wrexham’s cultural community resource centre

SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is encouraging families to attend events at Tŷ Pawb this half term.

Mr Rowlands said: “We all know how difficult it is to find things to keep your children occupied during school holidays and it is great to see Tŷ Pawb offering many different activities for them and the rest of the family.

“There is a wide variety of sessions including things like badge making, art exploring and working with paper.

“I would urge anyone interested in attending any of the events in Tŷ Pawb not to miss out on the opportunity and to make sure they book their place.”

Among the half term sessions on offer is Art Explorers on Monday February 24, a relaxed family gallery tour including drawing and making activities. Most suitable for children aged 5 to 15 who must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This is a ‘pay what you can’ session and booking is recommended. Meet in the gallery, materials are provided. This event is also being held on Friday February 28.

On Wednesday February 26 there is Paper Garden event which is a free all ages drop-in for families to create artwork inspired by the outdoors and gardening. Creating plants and flowers from paper and recycled materials to take home. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

All sessions are part of the #LetsCreateArt2025 programme by Engage, the leading charity for promoting engagement and participation in the visual arts. Funded by Arts Council Wales.
