SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is urging people to turn up and support another Wrexham Night Market later this month.
Mr Rowlands, Chair of the Senedd’s Cross Party Group on Tourism is delighted to see the event being held in the city yet again.
He said: “Everybody knows I am a great fan of what is happening in Wrexham these days with tourists visiting from far and wide and I am very pleased to see financial support from the last Conservative Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund being used for this event.
“The city has certainly helped to continue to put North Wales on the tourist map and events such as the Night Market is something for everyone to enjoy whether you are local or a visitor.
“I am always delighted to sing the praises of Wrexham, not just as a city but a county as well as it is home to many different tourist attractions which ultimately helps the local economy.
“The city is also bidding to become the UK City of Culture in 2029 and are certainly showing they can put on a good show.”
The Wrexham Night Market is being held in the heart of the city centre on Friday August 30 from 3pm until late. Head down to Queens Square for an unforgettable evening of sights, sounds, and flavours and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
Among the attractions on offer there will be live music, mouth-watering street food, and refreshing drinks. The event is supported by UKSPF and created by @Fair Event Management Ltd.
