WREXHAM AFC supporters are in for a treat as one of Wales’ most famous choirs has performed a special rendition of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”. Recorded on the eve of what many believe to be the biggest game in the team’s history, the choir donned black tie and Wrexham scarves as they performed in front of the newly-unveiled Welcome To Wrexham mural.
The choir’s performance was recorded for season two of the popular docuseries, which will no doubt provide fans with a unique insight into the club’s record-breaking season. Wrexham has beaten the most points accrued in a season by any team in the National League, as well as by any team in the four divisions above them. The club is now just one win away from a triumphant return to the Football League after 15 seasons.
The new mural, commissioned by the makers of Welcome To Wrexham, celebrates the team’s phenomenal achievements this season. The mural is just one of many initiatives launched by the club to engage and inspire fans, who have been following the team’s progress with great interest.
Wrexham’s next game against Boreham Wood is a must-win match that will hopefully see them secure the National League title and promotion to the Football League. Fans are hoping for a fairytale ending to the season, and the arrival of season two of Welcome To Wrexham will no doubt add to the excitement.
The choir’s performance of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” is a testament to the enduring passion and pride of Wrexham’s supporters, who have been unwavering in their support for the team through thick and thin. This latest tribute is just one example of the close-knit community spirit that is at the heart of the club’s success.
