WHICH of the latest planning applications have been given the green light in Wrexham – and which were turned down?
Wrexham County Borough Council’s planning officers have reviewed the latest batch of planning applications and given their verdict.
Among the schemes approved under the council’s delegated powers for this week’s planning meeting were plans to turn the former site of Rhones Joinery in Gwersyllt into a gym, plans to create spectator stands for Cefn Mawr Rangers FC and river widening works on the River Clywedog.
Here’s a round up of proposals that were granted planning permission – and those that weren’t:
Refused
- Tyddyn Dedwydd, Fron Deg, Rhostyllen- conversion of a redundant barn into a dwelling – refused as it failed to meet the exceptional circumstances required for new housing in the countryside.
