Wales make six changes to avoid wooden spoon

Ahead of their crucial Six Nations clash against Italy, Wales Head Coach Warren Gatland has announced six changes to his starting line-up in a bid to avoid the wooden spoon.

Liam Williams makes a return at full-back, while Josh Adams and Rio Dyer complete the back-three alongside the exciting prospect, Louis Rees-Zammit, who has been named on the bench.

Owen Williams keeps his place at fly-half, with Rhys Webb starting at scrum-half. In the pack, Ken Owens will captain the team from hooker alongside Wyn Jones and Tomas Francis in the front row.

Dafydd Jenkins and Adam Beard are named in the second row, while Jac Morgan, Justin Tipuric, and Taulupe Faletau complete the back-row.

Meanwhile, Italy makes just one change to their side as they seek their first Six Nations win in Rome since 2013, with Tommaso Allan coming in for the injured Ange Capuozzo.
