COUNCIL planning officers have approved a proposal to convert a church in Deri into a four-bedroom house.
The applicant, Nick Collier, has won planning permission to transform the Ysgwydd Gwyn Presbyterian Church, in Bailey Street, into a residential property.
According to plans submitted to Caerphilly County Borough Council, the three-storey house will include four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor.
A kitchen, lounge and media room will be built on the ground floor of the property.
Meanwhile, another lounge and a bathroom will be fitted on the lower ground floor of the converted church, according to the plans approved by the council.
Some of the rear of the property could be turned into off-street parking.
