FOUR people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in broad daylight on New Year’s Day.
South Wales Police were called to a property on Bute Street, Cardiff at 1.30pm on Sunday, January 1 following reports that a person was stabbed.
A 36-year-old man sustained a “non-life-threatening” puncture wound during the attack.
Three men and one woman have been arrested and are being held at Cardiff Bay police station.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “Police in Cardiff are investigating an allegation of grievous bodily harm which was reported at around 1.30pm on News Year’s Day following an incident at a property on Bute Street.
“A 36-year-old local man received a non-life-threatening puncture wound. Four local people have been arrested in connection with the incident, three men aged 35, 43 and 48 and a 29 year old woman. They have been taken to Cardiff Bay police station and the matter remains under investigation.”
