Man, 33, rushed to hospital following alleged assault in Barry

A 33-YEAR-OLD man from the Vale of Glamorgan was taken to hospital after sustaining stab wounds in an alleged assault in a residential area, police have confirmed.

South Wales Police were called to an address on Ramsey Place, Barry, shortly after midnight on Sunday (December 15).

The man, described as local, was transported to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

A police spokesperson said: “Shortly after midnight on Sunday (Dec 15), South Wales Police were called to an address on Ramsey Place in Barry. A 33-year-old local man was taken to hospital with stab wounds, which are described as non-life-threatening. A number of scenes have been secured. Investigations into the incident continue.”

Police have cordoned off multiple locations in the area while inquiries remain ongoing.
