Chepstow garage conversion gets green light without planning permission

A CHEPSTOW couple’s plan to use their garage as part of their home doesn’t require planning permission.

The existing roller shutter garage door on the garage, that is part of the house in Beech Grove, will be replaced with a single door and a window.

Monmouthshire County Council’s planning department said as the garage is already part of the two-storey semi-detached house it has residential permission and the plans, submitted by Mr and Mrs Deer, don’t require planning permission.
