Cabinet recommended to reject use of vacant building as homelessness Triage Centre

AS PART of the Council’s work to look at potential future uses of the vacant Cross Community Centre building in Pontardawe a report will be presented to Neath Port Talbot Council’s Cabinet at its meeting on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 which will recommend ruling out consideration of the building as a Triage Centre or for temporary accommodation.

If the recommendation is approved, Neath Port Talbot Council will continue looking at a range of other possible alternatives for the building including a business centre or other community-focused uses.
