Port Talbot couple charged with multiple child exploitation offences

A PORT TALBOT couple, Shaun Lewis, 37, of Sandfields, and Victoria Lewis, 37, of Windsor Road, have been charged with serious offences relating to the sexual exploitation of minors.

The charges cover alleged incidents between April and July 2023. Both defendants face multiple accusations, including arranging or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child, arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence, and arranging or facilitating the travel of another person with a view to exploitation.

Prosecutors allege the pair were involved in arranging indecent photographs, attempted acts of penetration, and planning travel involving victims under the age of 17. Despite the severity of the allegations, both Shaun and Victoria Lewis have pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The defence, led by Mr. Tarrant and Mr. Thomas, argued the exchanged messages were “fantasy with no intent to harm.” Victoria Lewis claimed she was “simply going along with the conversation” and denied sending indecent images of children, asserting that the individuals depicted in the photos were “wearing clothing.”

The trial is set to begin at Swansea Crown Court on Monday (July 7) 2025.
