CWMAMMAN UNITED have announced that current first team manager Ryan Stephens has had to step down from the role due to work commitments.

He will be replaced by First Team Coach Jody Thomas.

Chairman, Lance Williams said: “We are really sorry to see Ryan having to step back as he has started an exciting rebuild of our playing capability but we understand that family comes first.”

Stephens will continue to help out the club where he can and Williams added: “Jody has been working closely with Ryan and has been a key part of the planning already in place.

“He is popular with the players, committee and supporters and has the right level of playing and coaching experience to take us forward.”

Jody Thomas commented: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to manage such a well-established Welsh League club and I am really looking forward to the new season and continue our development and growth.”
