CWMGORS RFC held their annual seniors’ and youth teams’ presentation nights recently.
A number of awards were given out including player of the year, Players’ player and top points scorer.
Dewi Smith was announced as the Player of the Year while Steff Phillips was the Players’ Player of the Year.
Other awards included: Andrew Mason (Top points scorer)
Andrew Mason, Steff Phillips, Mike Jones – Joint most tries)
Steff Phillips (Most Loyal); Owen Davies (Most Dedicated, and also Supporters’ Player of the Year).
Iestyn Llewellyn (Most Promising); Carwyn Morris (Most Improved); Jeff Bright (Clubman of the Year), and Paula Lewis (Chairman’s Cup).
Meanwhile, Cwmgors RFC’s Youth also enjoyed their Presentation, where Erikas Baltrusaitis was awarded the Player of the Year award.
Other trophy winners for the youth team were: Owen Wright (Players’ Player of the Year, and Top tryscorer ); Iestyn Liles (Most points); Sion Phillips (Most Dedicated Player); and Iestyn Thomas (Most Improved).
