Cardiff Rugby will continue to play at the Arms park for the at least 3 more years after a lease extension was agreed with Cardiff Athletic Club.
An agreement lasting until spring 2025 was made today, keeping Cardiff’s home ground at the Arms Park.
The capacity currently stands at 12,000 – and hosts matches against the likes of the Scarlets, Ospreys, Lions and more.
Keith Morgan, chairman of Cardiff Athletic Club, said:
“We opted for a three-year extension at the end of 2020 due to the… Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent financial challenges/
“It is a holding lease as we look to clarify the long-term situation.”
He also added that the athletic club would look to redevelop the ground, whilst also looking “forward to continuing discussions over a longer-term lease.”
