Tenby seal win over Loughor

TENBY United earned their second win of the season on Saturday (Oct 1) as they beat Loughor 24-5 at Heywood Lane.

Jake Roberts opened the scoring with the game’s first try but the conversion was missed.

Dan Colley then went over for the home side’s second try and Max Brindley added the conversion to make it 12-0.

That’s how it stayed until half time but in the second half Tenby added another try as Jake Roberts scored his second of the game.

They then had a bonus point as Gwion Jones scored their fourth try. Brindley added another conversion.

Evan Budge scored an unconverted try for Loughor but it proved to be a consolation effort.

The win for Tenby moves them up to fourth place in the League 2 West table.

On Saturday, October 8, Tenby visit Kidwelly while Loughor will host Pontyberem.
