NEWCASTLE EMLYN made it two wins from two in League 1 West on Saturday (Dec 4) as they beat Hendy 40-17.
There was a hat trick of tries for Elliot Rees and Leon Samuel grabbed one as Emlyn secured a bonus point.
Shaun Leonard kicked four conversions and four penalties for a personal haul of 20 points.
It ensured that Emlyn’s fine start to the season continued and they now have nine points from their opening two games.
Elsewhere in League 1 West, Gowerton got their first win of the season as they beat Gorseinon 23-3.
Aberystwyth earned their second win of the season as they beat bottom side Penclawdd 41-5 away from home.
On Saturday, December 11, Newcastle Emlyn are at home as they take on Penclawdd. Hendy will look to get back to winning ways as they face Llanelli Wanderers.
Aberystwyth are at home to Pembroke while Gorseinon face Felinfoel.
