THERE were plenty of goals in the West Wales Cup second round on Saturday (Nov 6).
Giants Grave were 11-0 winners over Llandeilo Town with Morgan Freeman scoring a hat trick, Ben Wayman, Ross Hudson, Jamie Karnsang and Calum Palla all scoring twice.
South Gower were the biggest winners of the round as they beat Hendy 21-0. Jack Jones scored seven times for the home side, who play in the West Wales Premier League, while Bruno Morris scored five times and Matthew Lloyd also scored a hat trick.
John Berry, Dominic Dixon, Will James, Kieran Savage and Jack Dixon (x2) were also on target for South Gower.
KRUF also went through to the third round as they beat Cwm Albion 10-3. Ashley Hobson scored six of their goals while Nathan Isaac and Jack Phillips were also on the scoresheet.
Brynawel went through to the third round with a 3-0 win away at Loughor Rovers thanks to goals from Lance Hill, Jack Midwinter and sub Liam Stiens.
Penlan Club eased through as they beat Maltsters Sports 12-0. Sam Lewis scored a hat trick from the bench and Luke Edwards scored twice before being sent off. Carl Mucha also scored twice while Liam Otten, Steven Hughes, Cory Charles and Jamie James were all on target for the visitors.
Rockspurr were 14-1 winners over FC Nedd with Samuel Keefe scoring six times. Ryan Morgan also scored a hat trick and James Towell was on target twice for the home side.
Waunarlwydd Galaxy beat Gors AFC 7-1 thanks to a hat trick from Philip Raeburn and two goals from Paul Simpson.
Ynysnmeudwy Athletic went through to the next round as they beat Pembrokeshire side Narberth 2-0 with Kieran Williams scoring both of their goals.
Ynystawe Athletic were 7-2 winners over Clarbeston Road with Sam Brown scoring a hat trick. Adam Morgan and Rory Smitham were amongst the other scorers.
Tumble United are into the third round after they beat Camford Sports 3-2. Nicholas Anderson scored twice and their other goal came from Garin Morris.
Finally, Sandfields went through after beating Clydach 2-1 in a game that saw both sides reduced to nine men.
Sandfields missed two early penalties before Leigh Morgan was the first to see red for the visitors.
In the second half Steven Lewis and Evan Daley both saw red for Clydach before they took the lead through a Damian Daley penalty.
Shaun Howells levelled up almost straight away before being sent off five minutes later.
It looked like extra time would be needed but Martin Dean’s winner five minutes into added time gave them victory.
The draw for the third round of the cup has been made and can be seen below with ties to be played on December 4.
