CARROT COTTAGE rabbit rescue, a registered charity based in Swansea, is making a heartfelt appeal for support through a GoFundMe campaign organised by its founder and trustee, Christopher Barratt. The campaign aims to raise £40,000 to fund the creation of a rescue and rehabilitation centre for rabbits.
Entirely community led, Carrot Cottage has grown significantly, enabling the rescue and care of an increasing number of rabbits in need. Christopher and his team are now ready to take the next steps towards building a dedicated facility that will provide a safe and supportive environment for these animals.
The funds raised will go towards purchasing land and constructing a centre specifically designed to enhance the welfare and rehabilitation of rabbits. Christopher emphasises that this project is driven by a passion to “right the wrongs” that have been done to this species.
So far, £425 has been raised towards the £40,000 target. Those who love rabbits and wish to contribute to this important cause are encouraged to make a small donation to help Carrot Cottage continue its vital work.
