Carew hit seven against Tish

CAREW got their league campaign back on track with a 7-0 win over St Ishmaels on Saturday (Dec 10).

It was their fourth win in a row in all competitions but their first league game since defeat to Goodwick United on October 29.

Zac Rowell set Carew on their way with the opening goal in the 18th minute. Jordan Richards then doubled their lead on the half hour mark.

Tom Cole then got his name on the scoresheet to make it 3-0 shortly before half time.

In the second half, James Hinchliffe made it four and Richards scored his second to make it 5-0 after 65 minutes.

Ten minutes later Tish were awarded a penalty and Richards had the chance to complete his hat trick and he obliged to make it 6-0 to the hosts.

Richards scored his fourth three minutes later to complete the scoring. Tish were reduced to ten men soon after as Brennan Devonald was sent off after recieving two yellow cards.

Carew saw the game out and the win moves them up to sixth place in the Division 1 table.

On Saturday, December 17, Carew visit Clarbeston Road while Tish host Neyland.
