West Wales Cup: Trallwm hit Narberth for six

TRALLWM are through to the second round of the West Wales Cup after beating Pembrokeshire side Narberth 6-1.

The game was just three minutes old when Chris Griffiths scored to put the Carmarthenshire Premier side ahead.

Just three minutes later the home side doubled their advantage through Chris Ferrier and Narberth faced an uphill battle.

Their task became even harder after 15 minutes as Andrew Jones scored to make it 3-0.

With ten minutes to go until half time, Trallwm were awarded a penalty and Stephen Evans converted from the spot to all but seal the win.

On the stroke of half time sub Jacob Powles scored to make it 5-0 to the home side.

Trallwm continued where they had left off early in the second half as Stefan Evans scored to make it 6-0.

Narberth did not give up and just before the hour mark they were awarded a penalty. Dafydd Wright scored to make it 6-1 but it would prove to be a consolation for the Pembrokeshire side.

That was the end of the scoring and Trallwm can look forward to their game in the second round.

On Saturday, October 15, Trallwm return to league action with a game against Pwll Athletic.
