CARMARTHENSHIRE teenager Fflyn Edwards is set to play a young Prince Harry in the upcoming and final season of Netflix’s hit series, The Crown. The 14-year-old actor, who hails from Cross Hands, is no stranger to the screen, having already appeared in the Netflix series 1899 and in several other productions, including CBBC’s The Snow Spider and Sky’s Save the Cinema.

Fflyn is represented by Mark Jermin Management, a Swansea-based talent agency, which confirmed the news and praised the young actor’s talent and dedication. According to his management, Fflyn has been working hard to perfect his English accent and has studied footage of the young prince to prepare for the role.

The final season of The Crown is set in the 1990s and will see Fflyn portraying the heart-breaking scenes of the young prince trying to come to terms with the death of his mother, Princess Diana. The season will also focus on the fallout from Prince Charles and Diana’s divorce and the rise of Tony Blair to power. It is set to stream on Netflix later this year.
