The Dryslwyn Community Shop and Post Office would like to thank their loyal customers by inviting them all to an afternoon of carol singing, mince pies and mulled wine on December 15.
It will be a great opportunity to bring the entire community together ahead of Christmas where we can chat with our neighbours and get to know each other better.
“The shop has always aimed to be a hub and bring the community together,” says volunteer coordinator Christoph Fischer. “I want to increase the social aspect and number of gatherings like this one to foster this.”
“We love the relationships we have built with our customers,” says another volunteer. I look forward to having the opportunity for longer chats over a mulled wine rather than over their shopping.”
The Dryslwyn Community Shop and Post Office has been going as a volunteer driven operation since 2009 and particularly during the pandemic it has become a focal point in Dryslwyn. We hope to see you there.
