Dinosaur Park in Tenby is up for sale

THE BELOVED attraction, found along the B4318 in Tenby, has been placed on the market due to the recent retirement of the original owners, who founded the park in 1994.

Specialist leisure property advisors, Christie & Co, have been enlisted to market the park. It is currently on sale for a guide price of £4,500,000.

Gabriella Williams, the business agent at Christie & Co managing the sale, noted: “The Dinosaur Park is an outstanding visitor attraction, and this is a unique opportunity to own a very profitable, turn-key leisure business. Over the past 30 years the owners have built, grown and developed the park to the successful attraction it is today, and there is still further scope and potential for it to be expanded even further. We expect the park to appeal to a national buyer audience and are welcoming enquiries from prospective purchasers.”

The Dinosaur Park has a total of 36 rides and activities, along with 90 dinosaurs. There is also a guided walking safari and a woodland trail outside; inside, the park boasts large soft and hard play areas, a family activity house, café and takeaway food options, and the most important gift shop at the end!

Their current figures for visitors have reached 60,000 annually, alongside 650 families holding season tickets: this attraction is loved by both locals and holidaymakers.

Whomever purchases the park in the future is able to run it both as a business, or employ a manager to be hands-on for daily operations. There is 120 acres of surrounding land which is obtainable through a separate deal, alongside a three-bedroom bungalow.
