POLICE officers and Coastguard rescue teams have been called to the Port of Pembroke this afternoon (Sunday April 16).

Specialist officers and a police scientific support unit have also been spotted at the scene, which is understood to be in connection with the search for a missing local man called Jai.

A witness close to the Port said that there was a lot of activity in the area

“There are a lot of police and coastguard officers here today – we have been told it is connection with a missing person inquiry”, he said.

Dyfed-Powys Police have recently continued to appeal for information to help find him – Jai was reported missing from the Pembroke Dock area.

“Jai is in his early 40s, and described as 5ft 8ins, bald, slim,” said a police statement.
