FELINFOEL eased into the third round of the West Wales Cup on Saturday (Nov 5) as they beat Drefach 6-1.
Carmarthenshire Premier Division side Felinfoel took the lead in the 22nd minute courtesy of an effort from Dylan Austin.
It was 2-0 nine minutes later as Thomas Roberts scored and they soon added a third through Jordan Badman.
With the score at 3-0 at the break Drefach knew they faced an uphill battle in the second half if they were to progress to the next round.
However, on 65 minutes Felinfoel all but sealed the win as Chris James got his name on the scoresheet.
Badman added a second with twelve minutes to go to make it five and sub Matthew Ellis scored the sixth just a minute later.
Division 1 side Drefach did not give up and in the last minute of the 90, Leon Bonifacio scored a consolation goal.
The two sides are set to meet again this weekend as they do battle in the third round of the Senior Trophy.
