GOODWICK United earned another win on Saturday (Dec 10) as they beat Pennar Robins 7-0 at Bush Camp.
The game was just two minutes old when Goodwick opened the scoring through Adam Hawkins. Seven minutes later it was 2-0 as Rhys Dalling doubled his side’s advantage.
Hawkins then completed his hat trick shortly before the break with two goals in five minutes to make it 4-0.
Dalling grabbed his second goal of the game and Daniel James then got his name on the scoresheet midway through the second half.
With seven minutes to go Pennar were down to ten men and Goodwick had a penalty. Kieran Smith recieved a second yellow card, and red, from referee Jonathan Twigg and Dalling had the chance to complet his hat trick.
Dalling though saw his effort brilliantly saved by Pennar keeper Rory Williams.
It mattered little though as Dalling then did complete his hat trick in stoppage time to seal the win for the visitors.
It keeps Goodwick six points behind Division 1 leaders Merlins Bridge with two games in hand.
On Saturday, December 17, Goodwick make the short trip to Tregroes Park to take on local rivals Fishguard while Pennar travel to Merlins Bridge.
