‘Helliflower’ tattooists ink out more than £1,500 to Homeless Pembrokeshire in fund raising drive

Trix, Jodie and Courtney raised a massive £1,520 for Homeless Pembrokshire

The Helliflower tattoo artists in Saundersfoot were slinging their ink with renewed vigour last weekend when they carried out a charity fund raising day for Homeless Pembrokeshire.

Trix Cuthbert, Jodie Jenkins and Courtney Burton spent Saturday inking out a steady stream of flash tattoos on dozens of customers who flowed into the studio throughout Saturday. And as a result, they handed over a cheque for £1,520 to Amanda Evans who runs the Homeless Pembrokeshire charity in Haverfordwest.

“The cost of living crisis is making us all think hard about how difficult it is for so many people, and this is why we decided to hold our charity fund raising day for Homeless Pembrokeshire,” explained Trix, who runs the studio in partnership with Jodie.

“And what made it even more special for us is the fact that it’s a local charity based here in Pembrokeshire, which means that every penny we raised would remain in the county. And Amanda Evans is doing the most incredible things for the benefit of the homeless, helping so very many people and never turning anyone away.”

Each of the tattoo artists at Helliflower are local women who either live in the town of Saundersfoot or nearby. They opened their studio last September however they are all highly skilled tattooists with several years’ experience.
