DELTA Wellbeing has won an incredible two awards and a highly commended in the Wales region of the Great British Care Awards highlighting its commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care and in developing a dedicated and highly skilled workforce delivering service excellence.

The company, which provides assistive technology and proactive monitoring to support older and vulnerable people to live more independently, won the awards for Dignity in Care and Workforce Development.

Community response officers Mark Burt and Nadine Rees were both nominated for the Home Care Worker Award, with Mark being highly commended for his exceptional service.

The judges said: “This team demonstrates the importance of promoting dignity within a service, always placing the service user at the heart of every decision. Their commitment to person-centred care ensures respect and consideration for individual needs. Keep up the excellent work, continuing to lead by example in delivering compassionate, respectful care.”

The awards celebrate excellence across all areas of the care sector recognising the work of frontline staff such as care workers and care managers, and those people who have made an impact in other ways such as training and innovation.

Mark said: “This award is testament to the high standards all of us in Delta Wellbeing set ourselves.  I could not have achieved this without the support of my fellow responders, advisers and everyone I work with. Thank you.”
