Narberth man accused of threatening police officer remanded in custody

Joshua Spicer has denied the offence

A 36-year-old Narberth man accused of threatening an on-duty police officer during an alleged incident on January 21 has been remanded in custody by Haverfordwest magistrates.

Joshua Spicer, of Castle Terrace, Narberth, appeared before the Bench earlier this week via a video link from Swansea Prison.

He is accused of using threatening and abusive behaviour towards PC Simon Allen, however he denies the charge.

Magistrates ordered that Spicer remains in custody until his first remand hearing on March 7. His trial proceedings will commence at Swansea Crown Court on April 3.
