Pembrokeshire couple accused of importing controlled drug at Heathrow Airport

They are accused of importing the drug at Heathrow

A Pembrokeshire couple has appeared before magistrates charged with importing 800 grams of cannabis at Heathrow Airport.

Alexandra Rawson and Kane Saxton are accused of importing the controlled Class B drug into the UK on September 26, 2019, with the intention of evading its prohibition under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

They face a second charge of possessing 252.84 grams of cannabis at a property in Fishguard on January 30, 2020, with intent to supply it to others.

Alexandra Rawson, 35, and Kane Saxton, 31, of Maes Newydd, Dinas Cross, Pembrokeshire, both denied they charges when they appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates earlier this week.

Following the directive of Crown Prosecutor Kelly Rivers,, magistrates declined jurisdiction in the case and the matter was transferred to Swansea Crown Court.

Rawson and Saxton will appear there on April 28. They were both granted unconditional bail.
