THE ENTIRE YPDVA Community is delighted with the progress made by their year 11 family members who started their secondary learning journey during the pandemic. They have demonstrated fortitude and tenacity in overcoming the hurdles which they faced. The staff wishes to congratulate them on their exceptional progress and achievements and in being the very best that they can be.

A large number have achieved higher grade passes with almost a fifth achieving at least 5 A* to A grades. The success of their learners is a great cause for celebration with 98% of them securing at least 5 passes.

Headteacher, Rachael Thomas said: “I recognise the hard work of our pupils made in achieving their results which will enable them to continue their learning journeys to college, 6th form, or work-based training.
