Vintage working day raises £800 for Pembrokeshire stroke ward

The 35th Camrose Vintage Working Day raised a fantastic £800 for Ward 11, the stroke ward, at Withybush Hospital.

The Vintage Working Day took place on Saturday 27th August 2022 at Folly Cross Fields, Camrose, after an absence of two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show raised over £14,000 for a number of charities.

Andrew James, chairman and one of the organisers of the show, said: “The 35th Camrose Vintage Working Day was the biggest show ever, in terms of attendance.

“A big thank you to all the fantastic exhibitors, volunteers and the local community who made the day happen and helped raise money for great causes.”

Rachel Owen, Senior Sister on Ward 11, said: “A big thank you to everyone at the Camrose Vintage Working Day for the amazing donation to Ward 11. It is much appreciated and will make a big difference to our patients and staff members.”
