Blues seal deserved win over Neyland

HAVERFORDWEST moved above Neyland in the League 3 West A table on Saturday (Mar 4) as they earned a 32-7 win over the All Blacks.

The Blues had beaten the All Blacks earlier in the season but they came up against a Neyland side enjoying a good run of form.

The All Blacks had won four of their previous five matches with their only loss coming by the margin of two points against Aberaeron.

It made for an exciting battle and a closely-contested game.

George Williams scored Neyland’s try in the first half and Ollie Rothero converted.

The Blues battled well and led 13-7 at the break. It was just as close in the second half but a few mistakes allowed the home side in to score more tries.

Neyland are also in action on that date as they travel to Narberth in the semi-final of the Pembrokeshire Cup, kick off 7:30pm.
